The theater comes with lots of fun history, including the fact that it was originally built on the border of Massachusetts simply to avoid having to abide by the Massachusetts law of paying two different union projectionists. The answer? Put the projection booth in New Hampshire and the rest in Massachusetts!

Northfield Drive-In is typically open seasonally Friday through Sunday from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., from spring through the fall.
