There’s something about an arcade that brings back the best of childhood – the smell of summer, the feeling of freedom from school, the taste of fried food and melting ice cream – it’s an unarguably nostalgic experience. If you want to relive it – or share it with your own kids – you’re in luck. As it turns out, the largest arcade in the world is right in Laconia!
Funspot was founded in 1952 by Bob Lawton, who you can still meet at the arcade. Generations of New Hampshirites have adored coming here, and your family is sure to feel the same!
You'll see right when you walk in that this place is massive – and in fact, the Guinness Book of World Records named it the largest arcade in the world.
300 of those games are classic – Funspot actually has a special section, the American Classic Arcade Museum, that has the biggest collection of the old favorites you can find anywhere – and you can still play them.
If you need a little bit of sunshine, there are playtime options outside as well! There's truly something here for everyone. There's even a restaurant and tavern to keep you fueled for hours of play.
