I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
There’s no better way to fully immerse yourself in nature than to spend the night camping. But not everyone enjoys roughing it outdoors in a tent. The perfect compromise for those who love camping and for those who don’t, glamping has become quite popular over the years. If you’re looking for a place that will take your glamping experience to a whole new level, look no further than the Lake Bluff Bungalows at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in New Hampshire.
Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park is considered one of the best places for camping in New Hampshire. Set along the shoreline of Northeast Pond in Milton, visitors can enjoy a wide array of camping options and amenities to make the best out of their time in nature.
While there are plenty of premium tent and RV sites to choose from, glamping is also a wonderful option at Jellystone. Visitors can also choose between cozy Camping Cabins, the luxury Meadow Cottages, or the comfortable Lake Bluff Bungalows.
Perfect for families or a group of friends, the Lake Bluff Bungalows can accommodate up to seven people. With numerous amenities, you can enjoy most of the comforts of home in one of these premium cottages.
Inside each 325-square foot cottage you'll find an open-concept living space with a small living area, cable TV, and a kitchen where you can cook your meals on a stove top (please note that there is no oven). Air conditioning and heat are also a welcome amenity here.
There is one private bedroom, a loft space with a bed, and two bunk beds as well as a futon in the common space. Best of all, there is a full bathroom in each bungalow, something you don't get when camping out in a tent!
You can keep the bugs and precipitation away while still enjoying the natural surroundings from your very own screened-in porch. But if you want to head outdoors, there's a fire ring, a charcoal grill, and a picnic table to use.
With its setting on a gorgeous lake, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park offers plenty in the way of outdoor recreation. From the beaches to boating, hiking, scheduled events, and more, you'll have quite a memorable time camping or glamping here any time of year.
