If you love BBQ ribs, you’re in luck! There’s a restaurant right here in Manchester that claims to have the world’s finest hickory-smoked ribs, and we’re certainly not going to argue. Head on over to try them for yourself.
Welcome to KC's Rib Shack. It opened in 1998, and it's been serving delicious BBQ ever since. You'll find it at 837 Second St., Manchester, NH 03102.
This place claims that it has the "World's Finest Hickory-Smoked Ribs," and we have to agree - they're absolutely divine. These Memphis-style ribs are first rubbed with a special Bubba-Rubba spice blend, then they're slow-smoked for four hours. By the time they're done, the meat is tender, delicious, and perfectly-seasoned.
Depending on how hungry you are, you can get a third slab, a half slab, or a combo. Choose smoked chicken breast, pulled pork, smoked sausage, or beef brisket to accompany your ribs, then add a couple side dishes for a satisfying meal.
If you're really hungry, order up the Feedbag Shovel. It includes so much meat that they have to bring it to you in a shovel. Dig into a full rack of spare ribs, a half pound each of pulled pork, pulled chicken, beef brisket, and one full smoked sausage. It's six full pound of BBQ meat, plus a pint of two different side dishes and four wedges of cornbread.
The best pairing for a Feedbag Shovel? A Bubba Bucket! This cocktail comes in a child's sand pail and is designed for two to share (or one really thirsty diner with a designated driver).
Visit KC's Rib Shack and see for yourself if these are the best ribs in the world. The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday til 10 p.m.
