Dog lovers know that any opportunity to take your dog out somewhere fun is a good one. Fortunately, there are lots of opportunities to head out to dog-friendly attractions in New Hampshire. One of our favorites is the beautiful Jenness Beach in Rye, a small stretch of oceanfront that also happens to be a gorgeous place to catch a sunrise. It may require setting your alarm earlier than you’d prefer, but watching the sun rise is such a magnificent experience. This is a great place to enjoy the beauty that is a New Hampshire dawn, and bringing along Fido is definitely an added bonus.
Please note that if you are bringing your dog, you’ll need to make sure to follow the posted hours for which dogs are allowed and only stick to the city-owned portions of the beach. There are public right-of-ways clearly marked to access all town-owned areas of Jenness Beach.
