If there’s a better way to enjoy a meal than at an iconic spot in New Hampshire, we’d like to hear it! We’re confident that with all of the history and the great food, there’s no better state to chow down. Whether you like white tablecloth experiences or simple mom and pop spots, there are lots of places to try throughout the state. The restaurant we’re featuring today is one of our favorites and while they got their start in Manchester, today there are lots of convenient locations all over the state.
The Red Arrow Diner got its start in Manchester back in 1922 and has been a beloved institution ever since.
While we always think you should trust our opinion, if you need the supporting opinion of others you might consider that almost every presidential candidate has visited the Red Arrow Diner. In fact, in 2016 95% of candidates stopped by the diner.
Politics aside, there's a lot to love about this place. That might be why it's so busy on most mornings. And if you want to check it out on a weekend you'll have to arrive early.
The Manchester location was the first and it still has all the charm that comes with a vintage diner, including shiny red counter tops and matching stools.
No diner is worth its weight in hash browns if it doesn't also serve great food and luckily the Red Arrow has that covered, too. Their breakfasts are a thing of beauty.
The vibe is different at all times of day so be sure to make a trip in the morning and again at lunch. Night offers the feel that every good 24-hour diner should have, so be sure to visit then, too.
The Red Arrow Diner in Manchester is open 24 hours a day every day of the week. You can learn more about them by visiting their website or by following them on Facebook. We love the Manchester location, but there are quire a few throughout the state so be sure to find the one that works best for you. You can reach the original Manchester location on 603-626-1118.
