New Hampshire has tons of great hiking trails for people of all ages and experience levels. However, there’s one trail that most people should avoid. The Huntington Ravine Trail is particularly difficult, and because it’s so dangerous, many people will never see the wondrous view at the top of this trail. Luckily you can see photos of it in the safety and comfort of your own home by scrolling down:
The Huntington Ravine Trail is a difficult trail that's only accessible to hikers a few months out of the year. It's not recommended for novice hikers, and you should be sure you're fully-prepared for this steep hike before you set out.
After you've scrambled over the boulder field, the challenge increases. The next step is navigating the rock face. Many of the hikers who are rescued run into trouble here. They look down and see how far down it is if they fall, and they're too scared to go up...and too scared to go down.
