  • Check out the abandoned town of Livermore in the White Mountains, where you can take a trip back in time to the days of logging in our state in 1876. At its peak, there were about 200 residents, so it was always a very small town. The town was taken down when its mills were destroyed by a huge flood. By 1950, there was no one living here, but you can still visit and see the spot where the town once was.
