The summer heat is behind us and now it’s all cool temps and changing leaves. We love the summer, but now that fall is here we’re ready to settle into all the things that come with it. In addition to the leaves, we’ve got hot apple cider, pumpkin carving and cozy sweaters. Oh, and of course fall hikes! If you meant to tie on your boots this summer but never got around to doing it, it’s not too late! Every week through the end of October, the Squam Lakes Association will be hosting a group hike. This week’s is coming up!
For more information on this week’s hike scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 17th, click here. To register for all hikes, click here.
And, if you still prefer to go it alone you might enjoy these hikes. They’re all beautifully scenic this time of year and offer beginners a great way to try out their hiking skills.
