As we near the end of summer it can be easy to get sad about lost warm days. But, don’t fret! Warm days are still ahead and there are plenty of chances to enjoy the fresh air before snow arrives in a few months. As you make plans to enjoy the next few weeks and months, remember that there are so many wonderful green spaces to appreciate right here in New Hampshire. One of our favorites is right near Portsmouth!
Great Common Island is open every day of the year from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. You can learn more about it here. Remember that this isn’t a New Hampshire state park so the rules are a bit different. Make sure you know what to do before you arrive.
