When it comes to shopping, we appreciate just about anyplace with a cash register and merchandise to buy. Add in local flavor and the ability to support our neighbors and you’ve got the perfect afternoon planned for us! Throughout the state there are lots of options depending on what you’re looking for, but if you’re not sure what you want there’s only one place you need to go. The biggest flea market in New Hampshire is in Salem and has been around for over 40 years. Plus, it runs all year!
The biggest flea market in New Hampshire sits on a huge area of land in Salem, just off I-93 on Hampshire Road. The Salem Flea Market operates in cold and warm months, making it great for year-round needs.
Of course, when we say "needs" we also mean the things you might not need. There are plenty of vendors offering all sorts of fun things, including the vintage signs and ephemera.
We love the decor and nice-to-have items, but there are also a number of things you'll want to check out that you're likely to need. The merchandise is varied, including things like bicycles. There are so many of these, they've got them hanging from the ceiling!
In addition to previously loved items, you'll also find booth-after-booth of brand new things to buy. Including clothing for lovers of all things New England.
Once you've shopped until your wallet is empty there's a good chance your stomach will be, too. That's when you take a detour to the food vendors that exist both inside and out.
You'll love your visit to the biggest flea market in New Hampshire!
The Salem Flea Market runs throughout the year, both indoors and outdoors. They’re typically open every Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. outdoors and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. indoors. If you’d like to be a vendor the cost is $30 for an outdoor space. Indoor space requires a reservation in advance. It’s best to check their website and Facebook page for current hours of operation and more information on how to become a vendor. The flea market can be reached on 603-893-8888.
