It might seem like summer is winding down, but the temperatures don’t know that yet! The weather is still sunny and hot most days and we’re loving every second of it. After a winter and spring spent inside, we’re loving all the outdoor activities to be enjoyed (safely!) here in New Hampshire. And one of the most popular ways to get outside is a visit to this water park. They’re taking reservations right now to make sure crowds are limited and as long as you’re smart, you can be safe.
Even if you didn’t grow up visiting What’s Tale Waterpark in Lincoln, somehow the vibe here will transport you to childhood! It’s been around for more than 30 years and each one of those years has included delighting locals and visitors with fun and refreshment.
Whale’s Tale offers plenty if you simply want to cool down, but there are also tons of activities to be a part of here. To make sure you can fit it all in, arrive in the morning and don’t plan on leaving until you have to!
Those looking for some relaxation will want to snag a beach chair at Castaway Cove. Or, bring your own chair to set up where you like. From here, continue on to explore the park.
But, you can always lounge around at the beach or the lake. While you’re here we recommend making the most of it by trying out as many slides and rides as you can! From the Downpour to the Harpoon Express to the Banzai Pipeline and the Beluga Boggin, there’s something for everyone.
For a mix of action and relaxation, head for the wave pool where you can enjoy an inner tube. Unlike some other wave pools, this one is safe for kids since the entry is zero-depth allowing little legs to ease in slowly.
