When autumn rolls around in New Hampshire it’s clearly time for fall foliage drives, donuts, and apple picking. We won’t complain about a few pints of apple cider either. While we love that about this time of year, we’re always looking for unique takes on our fall fun. This spot offers a new take on an old favorite and we love it.
The White Mountain Cider Co in Glen is one of the coziest places you'll find in the state. They're one part cider mill, one part restaurant and one part easy-to-access market.
But they have another side as well. Inside the red barn you'll find a more casual take on things. This is where you'll find breakfast, lunch, to-go meals, and delicious baked good.
They're both tart and sweet and taste so much like fall you'll want to order a few to take home with you. Although, there's no way they'd last that long. In addition to cider slushies you can also get lemonade in a variety of flavors.
White Mountain Cider Co. is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday from 7:30 a.m to 3 p.m and again from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m and on Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. To learn more about them check out the website. Or give them a call on 603-383-9061. Address: 207 US-302, Glen, NH 03838.
