For those who love the beauty of sunflowers, Coppal House Farm should be a must-see. The farm sits on 78-acres, 10 of which are completely dedicated to sunflowers. Formed just prior to the end of the last ice age, Sculptured Rocks Natural Area is a 227-acre wooded area featuring incredible carved rock structures. It was formed when the Cockermouth River made its way through the area carrying grains of sand that slowly shaped the soft rocks. You can learn more about visiting here.

One of the most notable natural attractions, Flume Gorge is a must-visit for those who want to feel whisked away to another world. If you like your nature trips to be thrill-inducing, check out the mountain coaster at Attitash. Great for kids and adults, the speed can be chosen by the riders. You'll never get closer to the trees!

Sitting about 5,000-feet above sea level on the side of Mount Washington, reaching this beautiful view isn't for the faint-of-heart. But, if you do choose to take the hike you'll be rewarded with one of the most stunning lakes in the state.

This forested area offers more than 227 acres of pristine forest. And this old-growth forest is home to trees dating back so far that it’s safe to say they’ve been around longer than any of us. This is one of the most stunning and beautiful waterfalls in the state. But, unlike some other attractions this one doesn't require an hours-long hike to see. Simply park, get out and take a quarter-mile trail to reach it!

This natural area is comprised of 6,405 acres. Visitors have the chance to explore ponds, wetlands, and forest, plus there's an unbeatable view of the White Mountains.
