How many times has someone recommended a beautiful sight in New Hampshire? In a place with as many beautiful natural features as the Granite State, it feels like this happens all the time. And, how many of those recommendations come with a hike, a walk, a trek, or some other ambitious activity before you can actually reach the destination? Sometimes that’s great, but other times you just want to relax. That’s why we love this spot which is totally accessible by just pulling off the road and into the parking lot.
Welcome to Profile Falls located in Bristol! This beautiful oasis isn't difficult to find and offers an entire day's worth of fun.
Like most waterfalls in the area, Profile Falls is powered by melting snow and heavy rains, which means if you visit in the spring or after a rain you're likely to find a roaring cascade!
And, the pool beneath it is a beautiful swimming hole. It's large enough for lots of visitors, but small enough that it feels like a true forest hidden gem.
Profile Falls is a great trip for folks who don't want to bother with a hike. The falls and pools are so accessible, it's also likely to be crowded on a hot day. So plan to arrive early if you like peace and quiet. Or, show up any time if you'd like to make new friends!
