Some of the best places to eat are simple and uncomplicated. And that’s what we love about small town New Hampshire. There are so many hidden gems here just waiting to be discovered. Unless, of course, you’ve been around for decades. In that case, there’s a good chance you’ve already been loved and adored by locals for a very long time. This is a great example of a spot like that and we think it’s worth the visit even if you’re not a local.
Welcome to The Brick House Drive-In located in Hooksett. One of the best drive-ins you'll find, we love how this spot transports us back to simpler times.
First, there's the counter. Check out the menu, lit up above the windows, and choose your meal. Then, place your order and receive it on one of those classic red trays.
And while we're typically tempted to eat our weight in hamburgers, there are plenty of other options, too. In fact, if you choose to get enough for the family you might want to sit at one of the outdoor picnic benches. There's a lot of food!
The portions here are large enough to share, but you probably won't want to. One idea is to split the ordering among friends so you can try an array of things from the fried seafood sandwiches to the burgers.
Fries and onion rings make a meal, though the serving you'll get here could actually be the meal!
The Brick House Drive-In Restaurant opens on March 14th for the 2020 season. You can learn more about them on their website or follow them on Facebook. They can be reached on 603-622-8091.
