When warm weather hits New Hampshire all we want to do is head outside. Trails, beaches and lakes are all great ways to enjoy nature, but we love the more unique options, too. If you’re also on the hunt for new-to-you activities that the family will enjoy, consider heading to Cranmore Mountain Resort to enjoy their bike trails!
Cranmore Mountain Resort, located in North Conway, has a little bit of everything for everyone all year long. You might love to ski here in the winter, but this year they're offering something completely new!
The trails have been meticulously created and groomed to make for an experience that everyone can try. From beginners to those who have loved mountain biking for years, there's a route for all.
Accessing the trails means heading up on the lift (don't worry, they'll show you the best way to do it!) and then choosing the one that's best for you.
Never tried mountain biking before? Not to worry! There are lessons at the base. These include access to natural features like rollers, small drops, jumps and bridges allowing new riders to get a feel for things before heading up to the lift-accessed trails.
There's no age minimum to participate, but bikes need to be at least 20-inches for the lift. There are lots of different ways to head back down the mountain, from straight trails to lots of turns.
