It may still be winter, but as the days get longer and the sun sits differently in the sky we have our minds on spring and summer. That means that we’re starting to make our must-see list for the season and it’s already full of things to enjoy outside. Sure, we’ve got our favorite hikes and lakes but we’re also trying to explore more farms and outdoor local businesses this year. This place gets bonus points because they produce some seriously delicious smelling goods!
The best jobs in life are the ones we’re passionate about and that’s exactly how Laromay Lavender Farm in Hollis got its start.
If you’re not familiar with how these plants are cultivated and ultimately made into healing products a visit to the farm or their local store at Lull Farm is definitely in order!
And each summer, visitors are invited to explore the farm learning about the plants and their uses. There’s also an opportunity to leave with products.
It’s best to plan on spending a few hours here. But that can mean quietly sitting in their chairs to enjoy the sights, smells and sounds of the outdoors.
These beautiful plants have so many benefits from calming to medicinal, plus they look and smell beautiful. And don't forget to indulge in treats made with their local lavender. Like this cheesecake at Lull Farm.
Laromay Lavendar Farm can be visited by appointment. You can learn more about it on their website or check them out on Facebook. You can reach them to make an appointment or ask any questions on 978-726-0995.
