Here in New Hampshire we love antiquing – and we certainly have no shortage of places to choose from. A lot of the shops are small though, and a day spent on Antique Alley requires a lot of time spent driving and reorienting yourself in new stores. Skip all that and enjoy some one stop shopping at the largest antique market you’ve ever stepped inside, right in Laconia!
The Laconia Antique Center might not look too huge from the outside, but step inside and you'll be amazed at how massive this place really is. It's the largest antique market in New Hampshire!
The space used to be a Newberry's Department Store, and the structure itself lends a decidedly retro charm to the place.
The two floors of antiques are airy and much more easily navigable than many antique markets – you'll find it a refreshing change of pace.
The dealers located in this antique center are carefully chosen for high quality wares, and they offer a wide variety of specialties.
You'll find all sorts of amazing historic and decorative items here – you're likely to stumble on more than a few items you never knew you needed.
Train aficionados will adore the collections of tables and models!
There's a huge selection of old books, maps, and more as well, plus a comfortable reading area to check them out!
You'll probably be hungry after all that browsing – luckily for you, you can grab a sandwich, hot dog, or the best root beer float of your life at Connie's Counter, the '50s style lunch counter right inside the antique center.
You can find the Laconia Antique Center at 601 Main Street, State Route 106, Laconia, NH 03246 .
Looking for a different kind of historical store? You’ll love visiting the oldest general store in America .
