2. White Heron Tea and Coffee Community, Portsmouth
While it's fun to sit down at this cozy spot for some tea and baked goods, we really like their business actually extends far beyond the brick-and-mortar. They have a thriving business that allows them to ship their own tea blends across the country. But, if you're local, you'll have the good fortune of being able to stop in any time you'd like! Head to the tea room at the Omni Hotel for afternoon tea in the Princess Room on Friday or Saturday at 3 p.m. Enjoy hot cups of tea with some wonderful savory snacks as well. You can find them at: 310 Mount Washington Hotel Rd., Bretton Woods / 800-578-2900.
On Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 3-5, visitors can enjoy afternoon tea with tea sandwiches and scones.
