3 Scenic Hiking Trails Surround The Small Town Of Lincoln, New Hampshire
Lincoln, New Hampshire, is a small town that you can find in the White Mountains. With a population of under 2,000, this town is quite small, but it also is surrounded by some incredibly scenic hikes. Some of our favorite hikes are the Mount Lafayette and Franconia Ridge Trail Loop, the Lonesome Lake Trail, and the Flume Gorge Trail.

Mount Lafayette, Franconia, NH 03251, USA

This hike is a bit of a difficult one, but the views are simply incredible and well worth it. This loop is just over 9 miles and is used year-round for hiking in the warmer months and snowshoeing in the colder months. This Loop will bring you to the top of three summits! First, you'll hit the Little Haystack Mountain Summit. Continuing on, you're next summit is Mt. Lincoln, and your last summit is Mt. Lafayette.

Lonesome Lake Trail is another hike with some scenic views, and is much shorter than Mount Lafayette! This 3.1 mile loop will bring you to, then around, Lonesome Lake. The views around the lake are great whatever time of year you go, with the trees surrounding the lake changing colors in the fall, then the snow-covered scenery in the winter.

Flume Gorge, 852 Daniel Webster Hwy, Lincoln, NH 03251, USA

The Flume Gorge Trail is the final trail on our list and is the shortest one yet! At 2.2 miles, this is a very neat quick little hike. In the summer, there is a boardwalk that you can use to walk along the flume, and in the winter, you can hike up the trail. This hike has some scenic views you won't want to miss.
New Hampshire is full of scenic hikes, and some of the best are found just outside the town of Lincoln. Be sure to let us know which ones are your favorites!
