While it’s nice to have some forced down time, it’s not always easy changing our routine. Especially when the state of New Hampshire is full of so many fun things to do. It’s made a little more difficult by the fact that the weather is getting nicer and soon the outdoors will be beckoning. In addition to the outdoor things, we miss supporting our favorite local businesses. Here’s our list of things we imagine most New Hampshirites are looking forward to doing when life begins to look a little more normal.
1. Stand in line to support our favorite local vendors.
We can't wait to see merchandise in person again. Online ordering is great, but there's something to be said for days wandering the mall. And yes, we'll appreciate it a lot more this summer!
Imagine. Sitting just feet away from the person you think it talking too loudly. This year we're looking forward to hitting the state's most popular beaches to enjoy the sunshine and...okay, even the company of strangers.
We don't have a ton of beach, so when that becomes too crowded we'll be back at the lake. There are a ton here in New Hampshire, and we can't wait to enjoy boating, fishing and swimming again.
The ski resorts closed for the end of the season, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy them during the summer! We'll be first in line to do all the things we put off doing last summer. The Attitash Mountain Coaster included!
8. Enjoy a few beers at a local brewery with pals.
We've been putting off the fun visits to New Hampshire's unique little spot for way too long. So, this is the summer that we go to places like Clark's Trading Post in Lincoln.
10. Cook way too much food for way too many dinner guests.
We miss enjoying our friends, family and neighbors. And we can't wait to get back to preparing a whole lot of food for everyone we can possibly think to invite.
