As we enter a new year, we’re making a list of all the things we’ve loved about 2018 and all the things we want to try in 2019. Some of the things on our to-do list are totally unique things, others are things that are new-to-us. High on that list are restaurants that we’ve heard about but just haven’t had a chance to actually visit. These restaurants aren’t necessarily brand new, and they might not be the most luxury, but they just might be the most indicative of New Hampshire life and we’re excited about that! This mansion that was once a stop on the Underground Railroad has also hosted historical figures like Mary Todd Lincoln and Presidents Grover Cleveland and Ulysses S. Grant. This Great North Woods newcomer is something we're extremely grateful for. The inside is rustic and fun, but the food is second to none! This restaurant was once home to Superior Court for Sullivan County. Built in 1826 it was also a public school and home of the district court.
