Designed by none other than art students right here in Nevada, four winning designs were chosen to represent the great state! Each student was selected from one of the four Nevada regions.

High school graphic artists entered a contest to see whose winning artwork would be depicted on Nevada’s new welcome signs.
The first new sign was installed on State Route 88 at the Nevada-California border south of Minden. Have you seen this Nevada sign from California? Now, you can find them all over the state!

Nevadans will always hold a special place in their hearts for the old welcome signs in the state, but like Nevada, change comes with the territory. The new welcome signs have engaged a whole new generation of tourists and have excited Nevadans, too!
