But, there is one destination with beautiful fall foliage that often falls under the radar — Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. Here, Mother Nature not only puts on quite a remarkable show, but you may just spot all types of animals. It’s a fall day trip that will make you fall in love with this time of the year.

Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge is impressive in so many ways. Located in Amargosa Valley, this is the largest remaining oasis in the Mojave Desert and the perfect place for the entire family to immerse themselves in nature.

This wildlife refuge is home to four endangered fish species and eight threatened or endangered plant species. It also has the highest concentration of endemic species in America.
