I was born and raised in sunny Southern California and will never tire of the West Coast, although I spent several years living in Southeast Asia, about as far from California as you can get. Wherever I am in the world, I love straying from the beaten path, experiencing local life, and discovering hidden gems - camera in hand. The beach is my happy place and when I am not there (or writing), you will usually find me baking, watching movies, and cuddling my pugs. I have traveled around the country and around the world, and it never, ever gets old. Being able to combine my passion for travel and my love of writing is nothing short of a dream.
We have all heard it, and most of us have said it. Go big or go home! And a lot of establishments, restaurants included, feel the need to do that – to have the biggest space, the flashiest offerings, the most famous names. All of that can be exciting, and it definitely draws a crowd. But it doesn’t guarantee a great experience. Go big or go home? This tiny restaurant in Reno, NV, is turning that saying on its head, and proving you don’t have to go big to go great.
This Reno eatery is almost always busy and proving that you can find awesome things in unexpected (and small!) places. Have you ever eaten here? Please share your thoughts with us! Find out about the menu, reservations, catering, etc. on the Sierra St Kitchen and Cocktails website. If you are planning a little Reno getaway, check out this adorable cottage rental near downtown!
