The Carson City Ghost Tours is currently in its 27th season, and it's a must for anybody with a love for the supernatural. This is far from your typical city tour. Instead, you'll be taken on a journey back in time to Carson City's early days.
The tours take place during the evening and they are led by Madame Curry, a spirited and historically fictional character named after the widow of Carson City's founder, Abe Curry. You won't just hear about the city's history. You'll relive it.
As you walk through some of the city's most historic haunts, you'll learn all about the area's Victorian-era history. Hear about the lingering spirits of days gone by and the creepy legend and gossip that goes along with them.
Participants will depart from the McFadden Plaza on Curry Street before exploring the west side of Carson City. Along the way, the tour will stop at historic destinations including many mansions from the town's earliest millionaires.
