Now in its 43rd year of festivities, the Spring Jamboree in Boulder City is a must for all Nevada families. Held the first weekend in May ever since its inception in 1977, Spring Jamboree is a longstanding tradition within the Boulder City community. Marking the beginning of Nevada's festival season, every family should consider attending this fun-filled event.
The outdoor festival is held throughout four public parks located in Boulder City's historic downtown district. These parks include Bicentennial Park, Wilbur Square, and North and South Escalante Parks.
Spring Jamboree boasts a little bit of everything for everyone, and there's truly never a dull moment throughout the entirety of the two-day festival. This year, the iconic event will take place on May 2-3, 2020. Set a reminder and be sure not to miss it!
Admission is always free for this long-standing event. It takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. The schedule for this year's festival has not yet been finalized, but you can expect many beloved Jamboree events to make a return.
Some of the event's most popular events include the classic hot-rod car show which features cars from all over the West. Additionally, the main stage will host a variety of performers and musical acts.
You'll also have the opportunity to peruse rows and rows of arts and crafts from skilled local artisans. Delicious snacks and drinks will be available to purchase from local vendors, as well. There's always something for the kids to enjoy too, including a climbing wall, bounce houses, and water attractions.
