Tucked away in a nondescript shopping center, there's nothing that really stands out about M&M's Southern Cafe on the outside. However, the inside is an entirely different story. Boasting a cozy atmosphere and the smell of southern cuisine in the air, you can't help but fall in love with this place on the spot.
This hidden gem of an eatery is named after the owner, Mitchell Moore. Moore and his wife, Geishula, have lived in the Sparks area for decades, but they originally hail from Texas and Arkansas.
M&M's Southern Cafe is a true family affair and it's evident that each dish is prepared with the utmost love and care. This place puts the "soul" in soul food, and it shows.
The eatery serves a little bit of everything. If it comes from the south, then it's probably on the menu. However, they do have some specialty items including alligator, oxtails, frog legs, and chicken and grits.
