Come join in the fun at the annual World Championship of the Cowboy Fast Draw to see who’s got the fastest gun alive.
Each year, the “Oasis of Nevada” is transformed into the wild west, though, not nearly as wild. More than 250 competing professionals and hobbyists gather to celebrate the sport of the fastest draw.
Those who aren't competing can try their skills out and see how fast they can draw a gun. Wax bullets are used in these instances to ensure safety is the number one priority at this event.
The family-friendly competition occurs during fall each year in Fallon, Nevada. Join professional gun slingers in their aim to win the top awards internationally for the fastest gun.
The current men’s record for the fastest gun has yet to be broken since 2018!

Competitors travel from all over the world to compete in Fallon, Nevada. Categories include “Annie Oakley,” and “Billy the Kid,” both of which are part of the youth division competition.
Notable workshops include learning how to properly care for a weapon and the "Rodeo Romeo Shooting School."
While most come for the quick draws, many come for the elaborate costumes! Dress up in vintage cowboy garb and get into the spirit at this exciting Nevada event!
