If you want to visit a stunning beach with the most vibrant blue water in Nevada, then you probably already know where to go: Lake Tahoe. However, Tahoe beaches are infamous for being packed, especially during the summertime. Luckily, there are still a few hidden gems along the lake’s shoreline that provide some much needed peace and quiet away from the crowds. This hidden beach is about to become your go-to spot whenever you feel like taking a beach day. Check it out.
Looking to escape the crowds during your next Tahoe vacation? Look no further than the one and only Hidden Beach. Yes, it's actually named that and it couldn't be more fitting!
You'll find Hidden Beach located just one mile south of Incline Village, right along Highway 28. There isn't a parking lot for the beach so you'll have to find a place along the highway to park your vehicle. From the highway you will then follow a dirt trail on the outside of a guard rail to the beach itself.
The parking situation isn't preferable but this (along with the brief hike) is what deters most beachgoers from visiting Hidden Beach. As a result, the beach is wonderfully quiet and secluded. If you time it just right, you may even have the place to yourself.
The beach itself is located right along the highway, but it's hidden from view by giagntic boulders and dense thickets of trees. This creates a blissfully tranquil environment, perfect for lounging about and just soaking up the rays.
The beauty of this place is almost unreal. Lake Tahoe's famous blue waters are absolutely mesmerizing and they almost beg you to come and swim in them. The water is characteristically very cold but you won't be able to resist going for a quick dip!
Now this is how Lake Tahoe should be enjoyed. With a shoreline approximately 750-feet long, you're bound to find a little slice of the beach to call your own. If this isn't paradise, than we don't know what is.
The views of the lake and the surrounding scenery are just unbelievable, so be sure to take your time and soak it all in! Say goodbye to busy, packed beaches. This little oasis is calling your name.
Have you visited Hidden Beach before? What’s your favorite beach along Lake Tahoe? There are so many awesome beaches at Lake Tahoe that are worthy of checking out. For instance, be sure to take a look at this unique Nevada beach unlike anywhere else in the world.
