This year, the Reno River Festival will be taking place May 11-12, 2019. This action-packed weekend is often considered the official kickoff into Reno's special event season. Loaded with fun activities, it's easy to see why it's one of the Silver State's most highly anticipated activities.
Every year, more than 40,000 outdoor enthusiasts flock to the Biggest Little City in the World for this spectacular festival. Taking place right along the Reno Riverwalk, the festival is filled with live music, food, drinks, and endless outdoor experiences.
The Reno River Festival is a free event that's completely open to the public. Whether you're a hardcore whitewater enthusiast or you just love a good party, there's something at the festival for you. You'll find that all sorts of fun can be found at Reno Tahoe Adventure Park, which turns into a fun-loving carnival atmosphere for the entire weekend.
Additionally, more than 100 food and beverage vendors will be in attendance to make sure you don't go hungry. Be sure to spend some time perusing the outdoor merchants and all of the treasure they have to offer.
