The humble bar is run by brothers named Steve and Jerry Popichak (aka Iggy and Squiggy.) Originally opened in 1982, the roadhouse has garnered a loyal following of locals and returning travelers who love not just the food, but the eclectic vibe.
On the menu is an assortment of typical pub food, but the food item they are most famous for isn't typical at all. You wouldn't expect a roadhouse in the middle of nowhere to serve up some of the tastiest tacos you've ever had, yet Iggy & Squiggy's is doing just that!
Other beloved offerings include cheeseburgers, the world famous Junction Dog, a half-pound BLT, and a hearty Ribeye Steak Sandwich. It's the type of food that definitely hits the spot after a long day on the road and it's bound to satisfy.
Make an entire weekend of exploring this little-known region of Northern Nevada and plan to spend a night at the bar's very own tent camping site. The lush and shady area even includes picnic tables, bathrooms, and laundry facilities. Rates are just $10 per night for a single and $15 per night for couples.
