Empire, founded in 1923, is a ghost town located in Washoe County. At one time this ghost town had over 750 people before U.S. Gypsum Corporation, the town's main source of employment, closed.

Duckwater is an American village located in the central portion of Nevada in Nye County.
Crescent Valley is an unincorporated community in Eureka County. This small community includes Crescent Valley Elementary School, Crescent Valley Park and Crescent Valley Fair Grounds. All holidays are celebrated at the fairgrounds.
Blue Diamond is a rural community located in Clark County. This small community includes a park, city pool, library, event hall, elementary school, church, general store and gas station.
