3. Great Basin National Park, Baker

Campsites are on a first come, first served basis, and each campsite includes a table, tent pad, and grill. Electrical hookups are also available. Lower Lehman Creek campground is open year-round, but the other campgrounds are generally open only from May to October. Great Basin National Park is pet friendly, but pets must be leashed at all times. Every summer, the Burning Man Festival takes place in the Black Rock Desert, but the rest of the year it offers wonderful camping opportunities. With more than 300,000 acres of land, this conservation area offers many outdoor activities for its campers such as biking and hiking. There are no established campgrounds within the Black Rock Desert-High Rock Canyon Emigrant Trails National Conservation Area, but dispersed camping is allowed throughout the area. This beautiful conservation area is open year-round and is located about 100 miles north of Reno.

Some of the campsites are able to accommodate RVs up to 25 feet long. At this state park, campers will enjoy exploring the area and hiking the nature trail. The campground allows pets, but they must be leashed. Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park's campground is open year-round and is located approximately 23 miles east of Gabbs, via State Route 844.
