Creepy Places In Las Vegas

What are the creepiest places in Nevada?

This haunted road trip will lead you to the scariest places in Nevada.

  • Bliss Mansion (corner of West Robinson and North Mountain streets, Carson City, Nevada): Once a glorious and luxurious home, the 8,500-square-foot three-story mansion with 15 rooms still stands across from the Governor’s mansion. It was reportedly built on an old cemetery from which the bodies were relocated, who still seem to roam the grounds. Folks believe Duane Bliss never left his beloved home and has been spotted staring out the top-floor windows or in the front yard.
  • The Dake House (2242 Main St., Genoa, Nevada): This Victorian-style home was built in 1872 by the town's local undertaker. Now it is an antique store where a lot of ghostly encounters have been experienced. One especially interesting haunted item is an oil painting that is said to throw itself from the wall whenever the owner tries to sell the artwork. Discover more on The Dake House's Facebook page, where there is a phone number to call and sign up for the next ghost tour, which is on Oct. 14, 2023. These tours fill up fast, so call soon to reserve your spot.
  • El Dorado Pet Cemetery, (Coordinates 35.91432-114.91765 Boulder City, Nevada)
While the date of this unfortunate cemetery is unknown, the often dilapidated gravestones reveal at least 60 years of pets and maybe some humans have been buried here. Now a federally protected Desert Tortoise Habitat, folks can still visit the grounds where you may find a white cat ghost haunting the area, among other paranormal experiences.
