The first stop on the Margarita Marathon walking tour is Si Amigos. This small, locally-owned joint is a real gem. They've been serving up delicious Mexican classics since 2004, but the drinks are just as beloved. Play it safe and order an Original Margarita or branch out and try the Azul Cactus Margarita, Fresca Margarita, or Presidente Margarita. Whatever you choose, you can't go wrong.
Next up is the iconic Mexican eatery known as Miguel's. Known as Reno's "Oldest Family Style Mexican Restaurant", Miguel's has been a local favorite since 1959. That definitely says a lot! The House Margarita is great but you can always take it up a notch with their Top Shelp Margarita or one of their specialty Fruit Margaritas, created with strawberry, peach, mango, or guava. Served in a 20-ounce glass, you'll be sipping on these things for awhile.
El Adobe Cafe is the next stop on the Margarita Marathon. This authentic Mexican kitchen serves up delicious food that's based on three generations of precious family recipes. Their famous two-shot margaritas come in a variety of flavors and they boast an even wider variety of tequilas to choose from.
4. Mari Chuy's - 764 S Virginia St, Reno, NV 89501
Mari Chuy's is a unique departure from your classic Mexican tavern. Instead, the restaurant has combined the vibrant aesthetic of Reno's Midtown with wholesome Latin tradition. Their margaritas are just as unique, with flavors like cilantro and cucumber putting an interesting twist on the classic cocktail. Whatever you do, don't leave without ordering one of their famous Jalapeno-Lime Margaritas. Yum!
Last but certainly not least on this walking tour is Antonio's. The cozy spot is known for their mouthwatering tacos, and margaritas are perfect for washing them down. They offer both classic and flavored varieties, such as strawberry and grapefruit. Order it on the rocks or blended. Whatever you decide is bound to be perfection.
