Take Highway 80 towards Lovelock, Nevada to find this pleasantly quiet state park. From there, turn onto Route 401 to find the Humboldt River Ranch scenic pull-off just near the Humboldt River Dam. It’s a great spot to take some pictures before heading back onto Rye Patch Reservoir Road to either park your car or RV.

Due to the quiet and peaceful nature of the park, wildlife often roam close to the campground giving visitors a chance to see them up close.
The park is open to pets, though they must be on leash no more than six feet in length.
