What food is Nevada known for?

Here in Nevada, we love our food. While the Nevada foods mentioned in the article above are certainly popular in our great state, there is one food item that also deserves its spot on the list — a big, juicy steak. Whether you are simply looking for an average piece of meat or something much more luxurious, you will find it at one of the many steakhouses around the Silver State.

While there are incredible steakhouses all around Nevada, one steakhouse that you’ll want to add to your bucket is Golden Steer Steakhouse. This Las Vegas restaurant has been serving incredible steaks since the 1960s and has become a popular place to eat in the city. In fact, this steakhouse claims to be the oldest steakhouse in Las Vegas and many celebrities have enjoyed a meal here including Frank Sinatra and Elvis.

In the middle of nowhere, you will find the HideAway Restaurant and Bar. This unique steakhouse is located in Battle Mountain and while the outside doesn’t look like much, the inside of this restaurant is sure to please your taste buds. The steaks here are large and perfectly prepared. Plus, your meal comes with a soup or salad appetizer, your choice of potato, and a dinner roll. You certainly will not leave hungry from this one-of-a-kind steakhouse in Nevada.
