Hilarious maps, which can sometimes be quite offensive, are popping up all over the Internet these days. Listed below are eight maps of Nevada and its relation to the rest of the United States. Some of these maps are funny, while others may be considered offensive. Whichever way you take it, remember a little bit of humor goes a long way. It’s great to have a good laugh every now and then.
1. The worst stereotype in Nevada:
Sin? Considering Las Vegas is known as "Sin City," and many sinful things happen throughout Nevada, I'd have to say this stereotype is pretty accurate.
2. Judgmental Map of Las Vegas:
Parts of this map seriously made me laugh out loud.
3. What each state googles more than any other state:
For Nevada, it's tattoo removal. I can only imagine the number of "unwanted" tattoos that are applied in and around the Las Vegas area
4. How the Europeans see America:
Yep! The Europeans are pretty accurate when it comes to describing Nevada.
5. Interesting Wildlife Map of Nevada
This wildlife map of Nevada was discovered at a local bar. Once you start reading it, you'll get the humor.
6. What each state should be embarrassed of googling:
Now, what's so embarrassing about googling McDonald's Secret Menu? Wait! McDonald's has a Secret Menu?
7. Google’s autocomplete results: “Why is [state] so…”
It's no secret Nevada is an empty state when it comes to population. After all, the Silver State is mostly desert. Interesting facts: Approximately 80% of Nevada's land is owned by the Federal Government, and nearly 2/3 of Nevada's population live in Clark County.
8. What you'll find the most of in Nevada:
Retired Pop Stars? I can see this being accurate. Plus, who wouldn't want to live out their retirement days in Nevada?
