We have a habit of picturing neutral colored mountains and sand beneath our feet when we think of our state. There's nothing like a beautiful reminder like this park to show us what Nevada is really made of!
During the summer, you'll want to arrive as early as possible.
There are plenty of reasons why arriving early to the park is a major benefit. One of the basic reasons to arrive early is so you're not exploring the park in the sweltering heat. The other? Because one of the best times to see wildlife at the park is during the early hours of your day!
Note: Do not feed the wildlife while visiting Clark County Wetlands Park.
The preserve is home to hundreds of species of animals, giving you the chance to see a ton of wildlife!
Most commonly, visitors will see turtles in the water, dragonflies surrounding them everywhere, jackrabbits dashing before their eyes and maybe a stunning bird or two along the way.
The largest park you'll find in Clark County, the wetlands will immediately steal your breath away.
No matter how early you make it to this park, you'll want to be sure you're wearing a hat, closed shoes, sunglasses and sunscreen, along with all your other favorite necessities for exploring on a hot summer day.
