I was born and raised in sunny Southern California and will never tire of the West Coast, although I spent several years living in Southeast Asia, about as far from California as you can get. Wherever I am in the world, I love straying from the beaten path, experiencing local life, and discovering hidden gems - camera in hand. The beach is my happy place and when I am not there (or writing), you will usually find me baking, watching movies, and cuddling my pugs. I have traveled around the country and around the world, and it never, ever gets old. Being able to combine my passion for travel and my love of writing is nothing short of a dream.
There is nothing like a great Italian meal, with homemade dishes full of authentic flavors. It is even better when you get more than you pay for, wouldn’t you agree? There is no shortage of restaurants to choose from, but some just go the extra mile. When it comes to going above and beyond, one of the best Italian restaurants in Las Vegas, Nevada, gives every guest complimentary additions that make each meal truly special.
Battista’s Hole In The Wall in Las Vegas, which boasts “the finest Italian food and atmosphere in all of Las Vegas,” has been in its current location since 1970.
The self-proclaimed “Hole in the wall” restaurant is full of eclectic decor that just adds to the experience here - from hanging baskets and stained-glass lampshades to an Alaskan Moose head named Moooosolini on the wall.
Battista’s specializes in traditional Italian dishes and is particularly known for classic favorites like Chicken and Veal Parmigiana, Lasagna, and Fettuccine with Mussels.
Once you pick your entree, Battista’s takes care of the rest. Every dinner comes with a carafe of complimentary wine! Meals also come with garlic bread, a pasta side dish, and soup or salad to complete your meal.
Guests have a choice of red or white house wine. Of course, there is a full wine list if you would like to purchase a different wine, and a full bar if you want something else entirely.
We often think of coffee as an accompaniment to dessert, but you already have your cappuccino. How about a nice big slice of Italian Spumoni cake to go with it?
Baskets and moose heads not interesting enough? Battista’s Hole in the Wall also displays one of the world’s biggest collections of miniature liquor bottles in cases behind a large booth.
