The museum's mission is to "provide a vibrant experience, through exhibits and programs, where children from economically and culturally diverse backgrounds participate in playful learning experiences." Part of what makes this museum so great is that it's truly for anyone and everyone.
Yes, the exhibits are educational, but they feel more like "play exhibits" than anything else. For example, The Summit is a 70-foot tower that encompasses 2,200-square-feet. As visitors climb, they'll come across interactive exhibits that teach concepts like visual perception, light, sounds, energy, and air pressure—just to name a few.
