Who doesn’t love a haunted house? Well, actually, I’m sure many people don’t, but they don’t know what they’re missing. Given that Nevada is one haunted state with many, many allegedly haunted attractions, a haunted house road trip should definitely be atop any paranormal enthusiast’s bucket list. Take a look at—and visit if you dare—this incredibly creepy Nevada haunted house road trip to quench your enthusiasm for ghosts and spirits. Oh, and just in time for Halloween!
The Liberace Mansion is rumored to be haunted by the ghost of Mr. Showmanship himself. The master bedroom and bath have the most paranormal activity: from floating orbs to cold spots to the fleeting apparition of a man attest to the haunted nature of this magnificent house.

This antique shop was the former home of Genoa's undertaker. Its most common spirit is an older woman in a housecoat checking to make sure everything is locked. Visitors have also reported being slapped or pushed.

The Father of Carson City, Abraham Curry built his house in 1871. Curry tragically died in 1873, and his former house is reportedly haunted by him. Visitors have seen Curry's restless spirit roaming around the house, seemingly in search of someone or something.
Built in 1866 and opened as the mint in 1869, the former state mint is allegedly home to two resident spirits. Former employee Osborne Parker was crushed to death in the basement in 1872 and is rumored to remain on the premises, keeping a watchful eye on everyone. The second is old Abraham Curry (see Abraham Curry House) who was one of the men charged with designing and building the mint who later went on to become the Superintendant of the Nevada State Mint. Curry's spirit is reportedly friendly and fatherly.

This three-story, 15-room 8,500-square foot Victorian house was built in 1879 by millionaire Duane Bliss who has remained behind to haunt his home. He allegedly likes to make the curtains move and can be seen looking out of the window or standing in the yard. Other apparitions have been seen. These are reportedly the spirits of the bodies exhumed from the cemetery that used to sit on the property.
First occupied in 1909 by Governor Danver S. Dickerson and his family, this house is rumored to be haunted by Dickerson's wife, Una, and their daughter, June. Both female spirits have been seen repeatedly, and there are several cold spots throughout. This house is rumored to be the most haunted in the state.
This gorgeous mansion was built in 1859 by mining superintendent George Hearst. Manifestations include a little girl dressed in white who visits the bedrooms, another female apparition who floats around the second floor, a former colonel who likes to sit in the kitchen, and a woman who might have been a servant as she always appears "busy."

Formerly the St. Mary Louise Hospital Building, this art center and retreat is allegedly haunted by a white nun. Legend has it that this nun died in a fire, and her spirit has been seen floating down the corridors, checking each room and looking out a second-floor window. Some have reported the nun's apparition at the bottom of the stairs with the apparition of a small boy with leg braces who she helps descend the stairs. In her former room, the bed is also repeatedly unmade.
This mansion is allegedly haunted by the spirit of former owner Eilley Bowers who died penniless after suffering many tragedies. She is often seen in the home. The cemetery on the property is also the sight of several ghostly apparitions and orbs.
Named for successful entrepreneur Roy Levy, this classic revival mansion is reported to be quite haunted. Paranormal activity include sounds of running footsteps on the second and third floors, unexplained cold spots, items moving on their own, and feelings of uneasiness and headaches in the cellar and attic. Former residents have recorded both audio and visual "evidence" as well. Today, the Levy House is a bookstore.
