These holiday-themed craft markets can be found in almost every community, but there’s one that we especially look forward to every year: the Elko Christmas Bazaar. The Elko Christmas Bazaar is officially in its 43rd year and it's a must-visit for any crafty Nevadan. This humble community bazaar regularly brings out makers and vendors from not just Nevada, but surrounding states such as Idaho, California, Oregon, and Utah.
A major requirement of all items sold at the Elko Christmas Bazaar is that they must be handmade or crafted by the vendor. This ensures that shoppers get a truly unique experience while perusing the various vendors and their homemade items.
The bazaar is a great place to get a start on your Christmas shopping, and you're bound to come across a wide variety of items. From apparel, accessories, and jewelry to furniture, home decor, and even delicious food, this holiday market has it all!
Entry to the Christmas market is free so feel free to bring the whole family. Santa Clause himself will even be available for photos with the little ones taken by a professional photographer.
This year, the market will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on December 7 and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on December 8. As usual, the bazaar will be located at the Elko Convention Center.
