Located just 12 miles west of the living ghost town of Austin off Highway 50—the Loneliest Road in America—is the Paradise Ranch Castle Bed & Breakfast. Opened in 2004, this castle-themed bed & breakfast sits on 160 acres and is the fulfilled promise of Bob Sossa who vowed to his wife Donna that if they moved to Nevada from Ohio, he would build her a castle. And, indeed, he did just that. Take a look at this extraordinary castle bed & breakfast.

Paradise Ranch Castle is located near Austin off Highway 50 in the Reese River Valley.

This truly unique bed & breakfast is surrounded by land, land, and more land and stunning panoramic views of the Toiyabe Mountains.

Each room is filled with stunning Amish-crafted wood cabinetry and furniture.

Owner Donna gives all guests the grand tour of this remarkable home that she and her husband painstakingly built and decorated.

The guest rooms are spacious, clean, quiet, beautifully decorated, and oh-so comfy. The larger, "master" bedroom has its own bathroom; however, the other rooms are close to a shared bathroom. Single-bed, "unfinished" turret rooms are also available and a fun experience, but bathroom access to these rooms is downstairs.

Each large, comfortable bedroom is equipped with a television, and there are plenty of DVDs from which to choose if visitors are so inclined. There is also free WiFi, if necessary.

Guests have full access to the game room and bar, appropriately called The Dungeon. Shoot pool, listen to the jukebox, or just chat with other guests in this stunning and warm environment.

Guests are treated to a hearty, home-cooked, and delicious breakfast in the Kingly dining room after their relaxing night's sleep.

There is a small outdoor deck for visitors to catch a few rays and enjoy the panoramic scenery. Barbecue grills and the spacious, well-equipped kitchen are also available if your stay involves dinner. Bring your own food and cook away! At night, enjoy stunning views of the Milky Way due to the castle's remoteness and lack of light pollution. You will see the stars unlike you have ever experienced before.
