If you are looking for a truly amazing hamburger in Nevada, Goodsprings is calling. Located about 40 minutes south of Las Vegas, this quaint ghost town has two buildings remaining—the Pioneer Saloon and the General Store. The Saloon is quite the nostalgic eatery and is fun experience in and of itself; however, the Pioneer’s hamburgers are THE BOMB! Take a look.

The tin, manufactured by Sears & Roebuck, is beautiful, and if you look closely near the back of the building, you will see three bullet holes courtesy of a 1915 gunfight over card cheating, what else?

The legendary, original wooden bar was manufactured in the 1860's by Maine's Brunswick Company.
The Carole Lombard and Clark Gable Room is dedicated to the couple as Gable "drank himself blind" here while waiting for news about his wife's nearby plane crash in 1942. Lombard's ghost allegedly haunts the saloon, and there are several other chilling ghost stories and local apparitions, including the victims of the aforementioned shootout.
The outdoor seating area is as quaint as the interior.
The piece de resistance is the legendary Ghost Burger: a half-pound Angus beef patty atop a toasted gourmet potato bun and topped with top secret Ghost Sauce (made from ghost chiles) and jalapeno bacon.
There is also the option for a Ghost BBQ Burger which has both sauces and jalapeno bacon.
Among Pioneer Saloon's other burgers are the Brunch (with hash browns and an over-medium egg), Chili (rather self-explanatory), Teriyaki (with grilled pineapple), and the plain Cowboy.
The rest of the menu is equally terrific, but everyone goes nuts for the burgers. Many fans claim these are the best burgers they’ve ever tasted. If you’re a burger aficionado, you simply must pay this nostalgic eatery a visit and try them out.
