1. Las Vegas Boulevard (the Strip)
Let's face it, this 4.2-mile stretch of road is one of the most traveled thoroughfares in the state and for good reason. Especially at dusk (pictured) or at night.
2. Valley of Fire State Park Scenic Drive
Otherwise known as NV 169, this is truly one stunning drive full of canyons, red rocks, petroglyphs, flora and fauna, and desert viewpoints.
3. Wheeler Peak Scenic Drive
Located in Great Basin National Park near Baker, this 12-mile out-and-back scenic drive has some truly jaw-dropping views.
4. Lake Tahoe Eastshore Drive
This gorgeous road is located between Incline Village and Stateline and runs along Nevada Hwy 28 and Hwy 50 providing never-ending windshield views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Lake Tahoe and its beaches, towering trees, and indigenous wildlife.
5. Gold Butte Scenic Byway

Located approximately 20 miles west of Las Vegas, this 12-mile scenic drive cuts through Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area where you can see stunning red rock formations, canyons, cliffs, and desert flora and fauna.
7. Lamoille Canyon Scenic Drive
Known as Nevada's "Grand Canyon," Lamoille Canyon is beautiful any time of the year. This stunning 12-mile one-way drive goes into the higher elevations of the Ruby Mountains. You will be treated to glorious views of the mountain peaks, valleys, and majestic trees.
8. Mount Rose Highway
Beginning near Incline Village by Lake Tahoe and ending in Reno (or vice versa) this stunning 24.4-mile drive (NV SR 431) features glorious views of Mount Rose, Lake Tahoe, Reno, and Washoe Valley.
9. Hwy 93 over the Hoover Dam
When driving between Arizona and Las Vegas, you have the option to drive across Hoover Dam or bypass it. If you haven't, definitely drive across this modern architectural marvel. It is truly impressive, indeed.
10. Nevada State Route 342
Running between Virginia City, Gold Hill, and Silver City, this incredible, nearly four-mile loop drive has several hairpin turns and some steep grades. In addition to passing by some amazing architecture, abandoned mines, and allegedly haunted buildings, you may even see some of Nevada's wild horses roaming around.
11. Nevada State Route 375
Also known as the Extraterrestrial Highway because it passes by Area 51 and has been the site of reported UFO sightings and "other strange alien activity," this 98-mile highway stretches from Warm Springs to Crystal Springs and provides unrivaled views of the vast Nevada desert.
