When is the last time you have somewhere to spend outdoors? A short and sweet hike is sometimes just what you need. In Nebraska, there are beautiful views on the trail at Zorinsky Lake that everyone can enjoy. Whether you’re on a trip through the area or live nearby and just don’t explore often, this short and pretty hike is a great way to get a bit more nature in your life.
Welcome to Zorinsky Lake Park, a spot out in West Omaha that has a lot of natural beauty, and is best-experienced by hiking the trail around the water.
You and the family can easily enjoy a day outdoors here, with a well-made path and plenty of space to hike comfortably in most areas. Dogs are also allowed to hike with you, provided they are leashed.
Whether you prefer a nice walk, a brisk hike, or a bike ride, this trail works for just about everyone. It's a great little stop on any road trip through the area.
As with any of our trails, make sure to never leave anything behind. Food scraps, trash, and other objects should all be packed up to leave with you, in order to keep this area clean.
