While a bowl of cereal and a cup of juice or coffee will get you through the morning, it’s not exactly the most comforting of breakfasts. For a truly stellar start to the day, stop by Woodees in Lincoln. The homestyle diner has been serving delicious breakfasts (and more!) for more than a decade, and it should be your first stop on a hungry morning.
This family-owned, family-operated restaurant has been a Lincoln favorite since opening in 2009. It's changed locations since then and the menu changed slightly at that time, but there are plenty of things that have stayed the same since those early days.
The food gets rave reviews from just about everyone who stops in, and the fair prices and friendly staff are also some of the public's favorite aspects of this classic diner.
The huge, affordable breakfasts include classic dishes like eggs, hash browns, and an array of breakfast meats. You can customize your meal to make sure it's exactly what you want. What an awesome way to start the day!
Woodees has even won awards for its yummy morning meals. The restaurant was voted as serving the best breakfast in Lincoln in the 2016 Lincoln's Choice Awards.
You can dine at Woodees every day of the week. It's open Monday-Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Additionally, Woodees is open for dinner on Wednesday and Friday nights from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
